To provide a cyclic olefin-based resin composition that can be suitably used, for example, as a medical container or the like, that has little discoloration due to electron beam or gamma ray irradiation, and/or that generates less radicals by electron beam or gamma ray irradiation.SOLUTION: Provided is a cyclic olefin-based resin composition for gamma ray or electron beam irradiation, containing a cyclic olefin-based resin [A] and one or more compound selected from the group consisting of a hindered amine-based compound [B] and a phosphorus-based compound [C], and in which, setting the content of the cyclic olefin-based resin [A] in the composition as 100 pts.mass, the total content of the hindered amine-based compound [B] and the phosphorus-based compound [C] is 0.05 to 1.50 pts.mass, and setting the content of the cyclic olefin-based resin [A] in the composition as 100 pts.mass, the content of a phenolic compound [D] is less than 0.50 pts.mass.SELECTED DRAWING: None
