To prevent a delay in the execution of a printing process not intended by a user, which is caused by confliction between a print job and a maintenance job.SOLUTION: A print processing apparatus 10 comprises: a print data processing unit (RIP unit) 230; a job management unit 218; and a communication control unit 232 for controlling communication with a printing device 50. The job management unit 218 includes: a job confliction prediction unit 219 for predicting occurrence of confliction between a print job and a maintenance job; a job list display control unit 221 for controlling, for example, a display unit 20 capable of displaying a job list to a user when the confliction of the jobs is predicted, and notifying the display unit 20 of the job list that includes the maintenance job and the print job for which the occurrence of the confliction of the jobs is predicted; and a control information output control unit 223 for outputting control information for causing the printing device 50 to execute a maintenance process corresponding to the maintenance job, to the printing device 50 via the communication control unit 232.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
