To provide model fishes of diabetic retinopathy, cataract and/or nephropathy.SOLUTION: Experimental small fishes having functional defects of leptin acceptors are characterized by being fed and bred so that the relationship between the weeks of age after the incubation and a feeding amount may satisfy a following expression, over 20-weeks of age after incubation from any time till 6-weeks of age after the incubation from hatching, in which diabetic retinopathy, cataract and/or nephropathy are developed in the experimental small fishes.
