PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation device for the inside of an observation object capable of performing fixed-point imaging on the inside of the observation object such as a gasification furnace easily and evenly, and an observation method for the inside of the observation object.;SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an observation device 1 for the inside of an observation object configured to observe the inside of a gasification furnace. The observation device comprises: an imaging part 10; an insertion part 12 to which the imaging part 10 is attached and which inserts the imaging part 10 into the gasification furnace; an angle adjustment part 14 for adjusting an imaging angle of the imaging part 10 in a horizontal direction and in a vertical direction; and a control part 16 for controlling the adjustment of the imaging angle of the imaging part 10 by the angle adjustment part 14. The present invention also relates to an observation method for the inside of the observation object including: inserting the imaging part 10 into the gasification furnace by the insertion part 12; and imaging the inside of the gasification furnace while causing the control part 16 to control the adjustment of the imaging angle of the imaging part 10 by the angle adjustment part 14.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
