PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve display quality.;SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 10 includes: a liquid crystal panel 11 formed by arranging pixel parts PX presenting different colors in matrix; a display driving unit 22 which includes bright pixel parts HPX having relatively high luminance and dark pixel parts LPX having relatively low luminance in the pixel parts PX, and which executes display driving by use of average grayscale between display grayscale of the bright pixel parts HPX and display grayscale of the dark pixel parts LPX; a storage unit 23 which stores multiple kinds of arrangement patterns of the bright pixel parts HPX and the dark pixel parts LPX in the pixel parts PX; and a pattern setting unit 24 for configuring settings to allow an arrangement pattern selected from the arrangement patterns stored in the storage unit 23 to be used in display driving executed by the display driving unit 22.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
