To obtain the center of gravity of a cargo by providing an inclination sensor on a member other than a fork to prevent the inclination sensor from being damaged.SOLUTION: A forklift comprises: a cargo handling device A for performing cargo handling work; a moving device B for performing travelling operation and turning operation; and a control device C for controlling the moving device B. The control device C includes: load sensors LS1 to LS4 provided on the front and rear of each of left and right forks 2L, 2R to detect the load of the loaded cargo; an inclination sensor TS provided on a lift bracket 3 to detect an inclination angle; deflection angle calculation means for calculating a deflection angle of a fork 2 loaded with the cargo; and gravity center height calculation means for calculating the center of gravity height of the cargo loaded on the fork 2. The deflection angle calculation means calculates the deflection angle of the fork 2 on the basis of the cargo weight and loading position based on the outputs of the load sensors LS1 to LS4 and the moment applied to the fork 2 by the cargo corresponding to the inclination angle of the fork 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
