To provide a wheelchair for reducing a load on feet of a seated person.SOLUTION: A wheelchair C is the wheelchair C having footrests 1 where a seated person places feet. The wheelchair includes: placement footrests 10 placed on the footrests 1; and binding bands 201, 202, 203 for fixing the placement footrests 10 to the footrests 1. In the placement footrests 1, first placement footrests 101 and second placement footrests 102 are connected by hinges 103. Portions of the placement footrests 10 placed on the footrests 1 are the first placement footrests 101. When the hinges 103 are closed, the first placement footrests 101 are superimposed to face the second placement footrests 102. When the hinges 103 are opened, the second placement footrests 102 are protruded forward when viewed from a seated person.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
