To provide means capable of increasing fruit body yield, and furthermore harvesting mushroom of high commercial value, that is, a larger fruit body or excellent quality in cultivation using culture medium for mushroom cultivation which is particularly cultivation of mushroom having general sawdust of oak, sawtooth oak or the like as a wooden base material.SOLUTION: There are provided a culture medium additive for mushroom cultivation containing aqueous extract of willow, culture medium for mushroom cultivation to which aqueous extract of willow is added, and a mushroom cultivation method including: a mushroom bed culture process of culturing spawn of mushroom on a culture medium to which aqueous extract of willow is added; and a generating step of generating fruit body of mushroom.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
