To provide a chip reset method, a chip, and a container of consumables.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a chip reset method, a chip, and a container of consumables. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining print information of partial or all imaging device data during use of the chip; checking an abnormal state of the chip and generating an error mark according to the abnormal state; generating reset information according to the generated error mark or the print information, and obtaining reset data according to the reset information; and executing a reset operation according to the reset data. In short, the invention obtains the reset data through the chip error state and the print information, and uses the reset data to execute the reset operation on the chip. This enables the tip to perform a more precise self-reset in the event of an error, thereby increasing the chip utilization rate and decreasing waste of the chip.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
