To improve the performance of an artificial olfactory sensing system.SOLUTION: An artificial olfactory sensing system comprises a semiconductor device SD1 including a transistor, and a sensor unit S11 including a sensor cell C11 where an olfactory receptor OR is expressed in a lipid membrane LB, with a proton adsorption film PAF1 formed on a gate electrode GE included in the transistor and a physiological solution RS arranged on the proton adsorption film PAF1.
