To prevent an occurrence of miscalculation due to erroneous reading in the case of recognizing a tax/public money business form on the basis of image data of the tax/public money business form.SOLUTION: A business form recognition program causes a computer of a business form recognition device for recognizing a business form on the basis of image data of a business form having a plurality of amount columns including a first printing column with a first amount to be printed, a second printing column with a second amount to be printed and a third printing colum with a third amount being the total amount of the first amount and the second amount to be printed to function as: character recognition means for performing character recognition of the first printing column, the second printing colum and the third printing column for each of the plurality of amount columns on the basis of the image data; determination means for determining whether the total amount of the amount being a character recognition result of the first printing column and the amount being a character recognition result of the second printing column is equal to the amount being a character recognition result of the third printing colum in the character recognition results by the character recognition means; and notification means for making a notification of a determination result of the determination means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
