PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for detecting a sign of generation of a wavy wear which may be generated on a rail top surface of a curved track on which a railway vehicle travels.;SOLUTION: A sign detection system 100 of this invention comprises: lateral vibration acceleration measuring means 10 which is installed on an inner track side rail Ra of a curved track on which a railway vehicle travels, measures a lateral vibration acceleration of the inner track side rail when the railway vehicle travels on the inner track side rail, and outputs a lateral vibration acceleration signal; and detection means 20 which receives an input of the lateral vibration acceleration signal output from the lateral vibration acceleration measuring means, extracts signal components of a preliminarily decided frequency band relating to a wavy wear of the inner track side rail from the inputted lateral frequency acceleration signal, and detects a sign of generation of the wavy wear on the inner track side rail on the basis of the magnitude of the extracted signal components.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
