To provide a battery remaining amount estimation system that appropriately estimates a battery remaining amount of a wireless communication device.SOLUTION: The battery remaining amount estimation system includes: a storage unit, operable in a first operation mode and a second operation mode, for storing for each operation mode a table regarding power consumption for each process to be executed on a battery-powered wireless communication device that operates in any of the operation modes; an acquisition unit for acquiring mode history information related to a history of operation modes of the wireless communication device; an actual power consumption calculation unit for calculating actual power consumption by processing executed in the wireless communication device on the basis of the mode history information and the power consumption table; and a battery remaining amount estimation unit for estimating a remaining amount of a battery on the basis of the actual power consumption calculated by the calculation unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
