To improve durability of water supply means used in a humidifier.SOLUTION: A control part 51 includes: a motor control part 65 constantly controlling a rotation speed of a pump motor 18; and a step-out detection part 64 detecting a step-out condition in the pump motor 18 on the basis of load 56 on the pump motor 18 at the time of the constant control of the rotation speed. As a result, a humidifier can stop the pump motor 18 without idling, so that durability of the pump motor 18 can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
