To realize "increase of power generation amount" and "facilitation of conveyance", by placing a power conditioner and a transformer below a solar cell panel.SOLUTION: A photovoltaic power generation system 1 has a solar cell panel 2, a power conditioner 3 for converting a DC current from the solar cell panel 2 into a low voltage AC current L, a transformer 4 for transforming the low voltage AC current L from the power conditioner 3 into a higher voltage AC current H, and a transmission section 5 for transmitting the high voltage AC current H from the transformer 4. The power conditioner 3 and the transformer 4 may be placed below the solar cell panel 2, the transmission section 5 may also be placed below the solar cell panel 2, the power conditioner 3 and the transformer 4 may be placed below the solar cell panel 2, and between the installation surface P of the solar cell panel 2 and the solar cell panel 2, or the power conditioner 3 and the transformer 4 may be placed, respectively, below different solar cell panels 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
