To provide a rapid and easy analysis method considering environment since a flask combustion method has many procedures and hence is not efficient as a method for decomposing a sample for quantifying halogen and sulfur, and a combustion furnace type decomposition apparatus requires a large-scale apparatus configuration and consumes a large amount of electricity and hence may cause much burden on the environment.SOLUTION: A system captures gas from a combustion system by a container containing an absorption liquid, places an electrode 6 of an automatic titration apparatus 2 and a burette chip 5 into the container and stirs the liquid by a propeller type stirring rod, and automatically performs absorption and quantification of combustion gas within an absorption container 1 as a method for decomposing and quantifying a sample 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
