PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmentally conscious, rapid, and easy analysis method which eliminates the disadvantages including a poor efficiency and too many procedures of a flask combustion method for decomposing a sample for quantitative determination of halogen or sulfur or the disadvantages including an extensive configuration, a large power consumption, and a large environmental load of a combustion furnace-type decomposition device.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a system which performs decomposition and quantitative determination of a sample at one time by the steps of: collecting gas from a combustion system to a 100 ml container of an absorption liquid; putting an electrode and a buret chip of an automatic titrator into the container; and automatically performing absorption and quantitative determination of a fuel gas in the 100 ml container while agitating the liquid with a propeller-type agitation rod.SELECTED DRAWING: None
