To provide a technology that allows a mobile body to reach a target place within a short time as compared with a remote control of an entire route to the target place, while an operator's operation load is reduced, and as compared to such a case where an operation to a place where the operator has reached only once is stored and reproduced.SOLUTION: A camera-equipped mobile object 10 comprises: a display unit 14; a camera 16 for providing a photographed image to a remote operator; and a wheel unit 12 for moving the camera 16. In addition, a storage unit is provided which stores route information including shaped odometry information and obstacle information to the target place selected by a remote operator. A control unit drives and controls the wheel unit 12 by a remote control of the remote operator when the route information does not exist, and drives and controls the wheel unit 12 by the route information when the route information exists.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
