Activator of clearance of protein aggregates containing autophagy flux and phospholipase D and tau and method of treating proteinosis

The present application discloses compounds that are activators of autophagy flux and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the activators. The present application further discloses the use of the above compounds and pharmaceutical compositions in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly protein diseases such as Alzheimer's disease and tauopathy. The present application further discloses a method for enhancing autophagy flux.
