To provide stencil printing base paper capable of improving a perforation ratio while maintaining permeability of ink.SOLUTION: Stencil printing base paper contains a thermoplastic resin film and a porous support containing a fiber, in which the porous support further contains particles P having an average particle diameter of 3 μm to 45 μm, and a change ratio of a thickness of the porous support after the particles P have been added thereto is 0-5% with respect to a thickness of the porous support before the particles P are added thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
