To provide an apparatus for mathematical operations, a method for mathematical operations, and a program for mathematical operations, that can perform deformation simulation by constraining positions other than vertices.SOLUTION: An apparatus for mathematical operations comprises: a constraint condition setting section which, in a flexible object model composed of an edge connecting a plurality of vertices to one another, by using information on two vertices, constraints a first point between the two vertices at a prescribed position; and a simulation section which, following the constraint condition in which the first point is constrained at the prescribed position, performs simulation to deform the flexible object model.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
