To provide a singing training device that can support a user to allow him/her to acquire a singing ability to sing at a correct pitch or a correct vocalization at a correct vocalization timing.SOLUTION: A disclosed singing training device is a device that, while playing accompaniment data that corresponds to lyrics data that includes data indicating a first character included in lyrics to be vocalized at a first timing and data indicating a second character included in lyrics to be vocalized at a second timing following the first timing, performs vocalization detection processing that detects presence/absence of vocalization at the first timing, and then performs accompaniment progress processing that progresses the play of the accompaniment data before the second timing after the first timing when the vocalization detection processing has detected vocalization at the first timing, and performs accompaniment stop processing that stops the play of the accompaniment data when the vocalization detection processing has not detected vocalization at the first timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
