PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inerting system for aircraft that can generate a low-temperature inerting gas without the need to collect outside air.SOLUTION: An inerting system 1 includes a gas circuit comprising successively at least one air inlet 2, a compressor 3 and an air separation module 7. The air separation module 7 includes an outlet 8 for oxygen-enriched gas and an outlet 9 for an inerting gas. The air separation module 7 includes gas permeation membranes resistant to a temperature greater than or equal to 100°C, preferably greater than or equal to 140°C, and the inerting gas outlet 9 is connected to a turbine 10 for releasing pressure and cooling the inerting gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
