To provide a renewable energy power generation system with a battery that can prevent waste of generated power and can flexibly cope with a change in equipment specifications after the start of the operation, a method for operating the same, and a battery unit with a battery used in the system.SOLUTION: A renewable energy power generation system with batteries includes: a PCS 20 that transmits power generated by a solar panel 10; a main power transmission path 11 for transmitting the generated power of the solar panel 10 to the PCS 20; an RF battery 40 used for power storage; a charging power transmission path 31 used for charging to the RF battery 40; a DC/DC converter 50 installed in the middle of the charging power transmission path 31; a discharge power transmission path 32 used for power transmission of the stored power of the RF battery 40 to the PCS 20; and a switch 60 installed in the middle of the discharge power transmission path 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
