To provide an absorbent article including a nonwoven sheet for an absorber excellent in a liquid diffusion property that does not use intensity application means by post-coating and the like of an adhesive having a risk of inhibiting the liquid diffusion property, and a manufacturing method for the nonwoven sheet used in an absorbent article.SOLUTION: An absorbent article includes: a liquid permeable front surface sheet; a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet; an absorber which is located between the front surface sheet and the rear surface sheet; and a nonwoven sheet for the absorber. The nonwoven sheet includes: a pulp fiber layer including pulp and having a first surface and a second surface; a first surface side fiber layer which is arranged at a first surface side of the pulp fiber layer and mainly contains hydrophilic fiber having a mean fiber length of 25 mm-64 mm; and a second surface side fiber layer which is arranged at a second surface side of the pulp fiber layer and mainly contains the hydrophilic fiber having a mean fiber length of 25 mm-64 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
