To rapidly specify the latest right holder from transfer information of a patent right.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises a processor and a memory. The processor receives an identifier for identifying a patent right. The processor selects assignment information corresponding to the identifier from patent information which previously accumulates assignment information for every patent right.
