To provide a method and a device for the quantitative evaluation of the agglomeration degree and the concentration of floc.SOLUTION: The present invention includes: an image feature amount extraction unit for extracting an image feature amount from an image taken of floc; a machine learning model calculation unit for calculating a machine learning model on the basis of the relation between the extracted image feature amount and the agglomeration degree and the concentration of floc set on the basis of the image feature amount; and a machine learning model execution unit for calculating the agglomeration degree and the concentration of floc from the image feature amount extracted from another image of the floc, using the machine learning model.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
