PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power assist device for a lower limb orthotic that is capable of reducing energy consumption of a user of a lower limb orthotic during walking, and a lower limb orthotic.;SOLUTION: A power assist device 1 includes: a motor unit 10 to be fixed to a thigh part 21 of a left lower limb support body 20 via a connector 41; a transmission means for transmitting the turning force of a motor 11 to a pulley; and a control device. A bezel pinion 14 is provided between a right pulley 44 and a left pulley 43 and is connected with the motor 11. When the motor 11 is driven, the bezel pinion 14 is rotated, and the rotation is changed to rotation in the vertical direction with a bezel gear 15 so as to rotate the right pulley 44 of a right lower limb support body 30. This drives the right leg relative to the left leg as a supporting leg, and the right lower limb support body 30 is energized by the turning force of the right pulley 44 and shaken out forward.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
