PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver nanowire manufacturing method allowing for stably producing a particularly thin wire upon synthesizing a silver nanowire by an alcohol solvent reduction method.;SOLUTION: A silver nanowire manufacturing method has a process of reduction-precipitating silver in a wire form in an alcohol solvent dissolved with a silver compound and an organic protectant. The manufacturing method is for a silver nanowire having an average diameter DM of 30nm or smaller and uses a powder based on a polymer having a vinylpyrrolidone structural unit and containing acetic ester in a ratio of 0.002-0.040 mol to 1 mol of the polymer, as a supply source of the organic protectant.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
