Provided is a wearing object design information search system preferable for achieving a decrease in work load effectively in accordance with the contents of work to be performed by a worker, and forreducing cost. A suit design assistance device inputs operation contents (S100) of work to be performed by a person for whom a suit is to be designed, and his or her bodily data (S102), and searches for a design file corresponding to the operation contents and the bodily data that have been input (S104). A work assistance suit is manufactured on the basis of a design file that has been retrieved.If the corresponding design file is not retrieved (S106: N), a new design file is input (S112), and the input design file is registered in association with the operation contents and the bodily data that have been input (S114).
