To dispose a suitable number of thermoelectric semiconductors corresponding to a required thermoelectric effect with a high density in a thermoelectric power generation module having a configuration that different numbers of thermoelectric semiconductors are disposed in a lattice shape in a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction between two support substrates and further, to dispose the thermoelectric power generation modules with a high density in a thermoelectric power generation unit including the thermoelectric power generation modules.SOLUTION: Thermoelectric semiconductors constituting both ends of a serial electric circuit consisting of thermoelectric semiconductors are disposed at diagonal positions of a lattice-shaped array, and two electrode members for conducting both the ends of the serial electric circuit with the outside are connected via each of the thermoelectric semiconductors. Preferably, the thermoelectric semiconductors are disposed in the lattice-shaped array of an even number of thermoelectric semiconductors×an odd number of thermoelectric semiconductors. Further preferably, the electrode members are connected at a low-temperature heat source side of the thermoelectric semiconductors constituting the serial electric circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
