PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid droplet discharge device capable of accurately controlling discharge positions of droplets discharged from nozzles to a medium.;SOLUTION: A liquid droplet discharge device comprises: a first piezoelectric element 13 moving a head in a first direction; a second piezoelectric element 14 moving the head in a second direction opposite to the first direction; a moving part moving a medium 8 in the first direction according to a predetermined target movement amount; a conveyance amount detection part 9 serving as a movement amount detection part detecting a movement amount of the medium 8 in the first direction; and a drive control part controlling driving of the first piezoelectric element 13 and the second piezoelectric element 14.
