PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control device for vehicle capable of preventing unauthorized rewriting of a program without stopping a control operation of a control object.;SOLUTION: An electronic control device includes a first microcontroller connected to a communication system of a vehicle, a second microcontroller, an internal communication part which performs data communication between the first microcontroller and the second microcontroller, a first authentication part which authenticates data communication between the communication system and the first microcontroller with a predetermined first authentication system, a second authentication part which authenticates data communication via the internal communication part of the second controller with a predetermined second authentication system different from the first authentication system, and a rewriting part which rewrites a program of the first microcontroller when the authentication by the second authentication part fails.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
