PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a communication module smaller and thereby increase the packing density of the communication module.SOLUTION: A communication module 1 comprises a plug connector 10 connected with a receptacle connector 30. The plug connector 10 includes an insertion protrusion 11 inserted into an insertion recess 31 provided on the receptacle connector 30. On the insertion protrusion 11, a board insertion section 15 into which an insertion end 5a of a module board 5 contained in the communication module 1 is formed. The insertion end 5a is inserted into a board insertion section 15, and first electrodes 16 and 17 formed on the plug connector 10 and the module board 5 are electrically connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
