PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device for working which does not require the addition work of a pallet or the removal of an existing device, and can restrict the body of a worker on the pallet from projecting out of the pallet or a cage.;SOLUTION: A protection device for working 10 for a mechanical parking device has a cage 5 for moving a pallet 2 to move a moving path 3. The protection device for working 10 is provided with a pair of main frames 12 and a protective fence 14. The pair of main frames 12 is fixed while holding the position and posture at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the cage 5, and is positioned inside the cage 5.
