PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of abnormal sound by suppressing the occurrence of stick slip when an input side member of a spring clutch idles.;SOLUTION: On an inner peripheral surface of a counterbore portion 4a of a control member 4 slidably fitted in an outer periphery of an input side member 1, a diameter expansion regulating portion 4c which opposes to a position making 90° with a base end portion of a hook portion 3a in a winding direction of a coil spring 3 wound around the input side member 1 is integrally formed. Therefore, when the control member 4 is restrained so as not to rotate and the input side member 1 is idled, the diameter expansion amount of a first winding on the input side of the coil spring 3 becomes small and slide resistance becomes large, and the idling torque of the input side member 1 in a dynamic friction state with the coil spring 3 becomes large and changes in the idling torque when shifting from a static friction state to the dynamic friction state becomes small, so that the generation of abnormal sound can be prevented by suppressing the occurrence of stick slip.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
