PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for diagnosis and/or prognosis prediction of ulcerative colitis in a subject.SOLUTION: This invention is completed by classifying intestinal bacteria into ten types about the intestinal bacterial flora of each object, acquiring analysis data obtained by calculating the total sum of bacteria amounts in each classification, creating mapping with clusters visualized by inputting corresponding data as a main force input factor and individually different background information of each object as a subsidiary input factor, subsequently enabling the determination of the existence/nonexistence of ulcerative colitis affection and onset prediction or the like of determination ulcerative colitis with respect to a disease state of an ulcerative colitis patient by determining which cluster the intestinal bacterial flora belongs to on the basis of analysis data of the intestinal bacterial flora acquired about the subject, and confirming that it is possible to determine whether treatment methods are appropriate in the case that treatments have already been performed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
