PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment and a method for protection against an unsafe current state.SOLUTION: A protection circuit can be used for equipment like an electric grill having one or more electric loads such as a heating element. The protection circuit can prevent possibility of various kinds of failures including, but not limited to, leakage, overcurrent, a driver failure and a microprocessor failure. A microprocessor performs a radio communication with a remote device, transmits an abnormal code indicating an abnormality in wireless, and receives a control signal from the remote device for turning off the grill in order to control a temperature. The remote device receives an operation parameter, and can form a record of a state of the electric grill when the abnormality occurs.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
