To provide useful indicators for determining sensitivity or resistance to deamidated wheat protein.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a detection method of sensitivity or resistance to a deamidated wheat protein comprising detecting HLA-DQ genotype of a nucleic acid sample collected from a subject, the detection of any genotype selected from the group consisting of HLA-DQB1*03:03, HLA-DQB1*03:02, HLA-DQB1*05:01, HLA-DQB1*06:09, and HLA-DQB1*02:01 being an indicator of sensitivity, and the detection of any genotype selected from the group consisting of HLA-DQB1*06:01, HLA-DQB1*03:01, HLA-DQB1*06:02, and HLA-DQB1*04:02 being an indicator of resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: None
