To provide a method of manufacturing a terminal-equipped exterior body and a terminal-equipped exterior body which can improve the airtightness and reduce the whole volume.SOLUTION: A terminal-equipped exterior body has an exterior body having a through hole and a connection terminal member inserted in the through hole. The exterior body has a first insulating layer surrounding the through hole, a base portion surrounding the first insulating layer, and a reaction layer formed at the bonding interface between the first insulating layer and the base portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
