PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure for supporting body and upper plate and furniture system including the upper plate constituting one product series corresponding to an object of use, the number of persons using it and strength condition and the like and capable of reducing manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a connecting structure for connecting a supporting body and an upper plate at furniture with the upper plate having supporting bodies 5 spaced apart to each other in parallel with a floor surface and vertically installed on the floor surface and the upper plate having its lower surface supported by the supporting bodies 5, and there is provided a connector member 10 for connecting the supporting bodies 5 with the upper plate, the supporting bodies 5 having a supporting column 5A vertically installed from the floor surface upwardly and a receiver arranged to extend from the upper part of the supporting column 5A toward a side of it and having an upper surface to which the connecting member 10 is connected. The connecting member 10 has a supporting body connecting part 10A installed at the upper surface of the receiving part of each of the supporting bodies 5 and having a first connecting part and an upper plate connecting part 10B connected to the lower surface of the upper plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
