A method and system for measuring sulfur solubility in a test gas includes flowing a test gas through a first conduit (112) that is filled with elemental sulfur and maintained at elevated temperature, and that contains elemental sulfur. Introducing a gas into the second conduit (116) maintained at a low temperature, and a third conduit where the test gas is maintained at a cold temperature sufficient for the portion (124) to cause deposition of elemental sulfur.
