PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide raw material powder of soft magnetic powder for powder-compact magnetic core, which can eliminate the problem in the prior art, and by which a powder-compact magnetic core low in eddy current loss can be obtained.SOLUTION: Powder comprises: a γ stabilization element; 1.0-6.5 mass% of Si; 1.0-2.0 mass% of C; and the balance consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities.SELECTED DRAWING: None
