PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll forming apparatus which performs formation processes distributively, but facilitates accurate positioning of distributed rolls for formation, and which is hardly affected by axial deflection of the rolls.SOLUTION: The roll forming apparatus includes a first roll 20, a second roll 40, and a third roll 60 that are disposed parallel to one another. A portion between the first roll 20 and the second roll 40 forms a first workpiece-pressure-and-passage portion 70 through which a workpiece passes to be roll formed. A portion between the second roll 40 and the third roll 60 forms a second workpiece-pressure-and-passage portion 72 through which the workpiece having passed through the first workpiece-pressure-and-passage portion 70 passes, to be roll formed. In the roll forming apparatus, axes of support shafts 17, 18, 19 for supporting the first roll 20, the second roll 40, and the third roll 60 respectively are disposed so as not to be flush with one another.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
