PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a communication module smaller and thereby increase the packing density of the communication module.SOLUTION: A communication module comprises a plug connector 10 and the plug connector 10 includes an insertion protrusion 11. On the insertion protrusion 11, a board insertion section 15 into which an insertion end of a module board is inserted is formed. A plurality of first adjustment projections 61 are provided on a top surface 50a of the board insertion section 15, and a plurality of second adjustment projections 62 are provided on an under surface 50b of the board insertion section 15. The first adjustment projections 61 and the second adjustment projections 62 are alternately arranged along the width direction of the board insertion section 15, the first adjustment projections 61 come into contact with the front surface of the insertion end facing the top surface 50a of the board insertion section 15, and the second adjustment projections 62 come into contact with the rear surface of the insertion end facing the under surface 50b of the board insertion section 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
