PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire an image of high pixel and high definition in high imaging speed.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: coding means 114 for generating a coded image by coding an optical image formed by an imaging optical system 111 with a coding pattern; an imaging element 113 for photographing the coded image; image generation means 170 for generating a first image formed by overlapping a plurality of image components corresponding to a plurality of coded images by photographing with the imaging element while sequentially forming a plurality of coded images coded with mutually different coding patterns within an exposure time period of the imaging apparatus for acquiring the first image.
