An image pickup device, an image pickup method, an image pickup program, an image processor, an image processing method and an image processing program are provided to easily acquire natural images by correcting gradation of various captured images using a tone curve appropriately set for the images. An image pickup device(1) includes an image pickup unit(11), a histogram generator, a gradation corrector(13), a characteristic histogram table(15A), an input/output property table, and an input/output property controller. The image pickup unit outputs image data corresponding to an image picked up from an object. The histogram generator generates a histogram of the image data output from the image pickup unit. The gradation corrector corrects the gradation of the image data. The characteristic histogram table stores a plurality of characteristic histograms respectively corresponding to a plurality of pickup image patterns. The input/output property table stores a plurality of input/output properties respectively corresponding to the plurality of characteristic histograms. The input/output property controller calculates similarity of the histogram generated by the histogram generator and each of the plurality of characteristic histograms, selects an input/output property from the input/output property table based on the calculated similarity, and controls the selected input/output property based on the similarity. The gradation corrector performs gradation correction using the input/output property controlled by the input/output property controller.
