PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate probability that a path of a physical network passes a predetermined area on the basis of a node (housing station) position in a physical network and inter-node path length of the physical network as relatively easily accessible rough information of the physical network.SOLUTION: An area passage probability estimation device for estimating an area passage probability as a probability that an inter-node path in a physical network passes a predetermined area comprises: input means for inputting path length of the path, a path of an installation space connecting a starting point node and an ending point node of the path and geographical information of the predetermined area; and arithmetic means for calculating the area passage probability by a calculation formula based on the path length of the path, a correction value acquired from the path of the installation space and geographical information of the predetermined area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
