PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel means for monitoring disease activity of non-dissecting aortic aneurysm by an easy method without exposure.SOLUTION: A method to support determination of disease activity of a non-dissecting aortic aneurysm includes measuring myosin heavy chain 11 level in a specimen separated from a patient who has a non-dissecting aortic aneurysm. Increasing of the myosin heavy chain 11 level in the specimen is an indicator of the possibility that the disease activity of the patient's non-dissecting aortic aneurysm is increasing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
