To provide an electric energy management system, an electric energy monitor recognition program, and a recording medium, in which when multiple electric energy monitors are present, a time required for a management device to perform a recognition process of electric energy monitors can be shortened.SOLUTION: Each of electric energy monitors 10 includes a normal mode of at least transmitting an electric energy under a specific communication condition, and a setting mode of causing a personal computer 30 to recognize the electric energy monitor 10. The personal computer 30 includes an electric energy monitor recognition tool 34 that transmits commands for shifting the electric energy monitors 10 from the normal mode to the setting mode by using the communication condition of all the combinations of the electric energy monitors 10, selects a desired electric energy monitor 10 by using production numbers preset for the respective electric energy monitors 10, and communicates with the selected electric energy monitor 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
